Laia Santanach is a choreographer, dancer and teacher from Barcelona. She currently runs her own eponymous dance company.
In 2016 she created her solo performance Ballant ballàvem, which remains on tour. Since 2018, she has been investigating tradition and ritual in her works. She has created a trilogy starting with Àer; followed by Tradere, which premiered at Mercat de les Flors, and is currently creating Jarana, the third part.
Her creations have been performed in Spain and abroad.
